Maria Sigma creates handwoven textiles spanning wall-based works, functional objects, and site-specific commissions. Her practice explores material, structure, and sustainability through a contemporary approach to weaving. Works are produced as limited editions or unique pieces, defined by their material integrity and craftsmanship.

Maria works primarily on a made-to-order basis, with each piece woven specifically for its future owner. Occasionally, a small selection of unique works becomes available from exhibitions, research, and studio production, offering a rare opportunity to acquire a piece without the usual lead time.
