XENODICE TURNER Stool | ONE OFF

1,270.00

The XENODICE TURNER Stool is a collaboration piece with the furniture maker Charles Dedman.

The stool is handmade from oak and upholstered with a hand-woven cloth. It is stuffed with natural sustainable materials (rubberised hair and cotton wadding) and hand stitched. The cloth is made with natural undyed British wool and alpaca in shades of ecru, grey and pink sandstone with Aegean blue coloured details.

For the cloth, my aim was to embrace its raw state and showcase its organic nature.  Every stool is an one-off piece and could be upholstered with a cloth of your preference within my collection or a bespoke one made especially for you.

XENODICE TURNER STOOL is inspired from the Cycladic minimalism and reinforced by traditional British techniques and craftsmanship. Perfect for occasional seating.

In every step of the production a ZERO WASTE philosophy has been followed, aiming to decrease to the minimum yarn waste and unnecessary cuts, carbon footprints, the use of machinery, water and electric energy. The environmental impact is being considered at all the stages of the design, the making process.
